Instructors

Michael

Michael


Michael earned a Master’s Degree in education from Fordham University and a BA in English from Drew University. He taught and developed curriculum for the Huntington Learning Centers for several years. In 2008, he received a fellowship to teach English and film studies at an inner-city school in the Bronx, NY. He spent the next 5 years overseas in the United Arab Emirates implementing the New School Model of Education in Abu Dhabi’s schools. He has been coordinating the education program at TCS International since 2015.

 
Sam

Sam


Sam graduated from Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York where he earned a BS in accounting. Our longest-tenured faculty member, Sam began teaching ESL classes at TCS in 2011. Currently, Sam teaches upper-intermediate level classes.

 

Reggie

Reggie graduated from Sienna College in Albany, New York where he majored in philosophy and earned a BA. He taught English overseas in Italy from 2001 until 2011. Reggie joined our faculty in 2012 and currently teaches upper-advanced level courses.

 

Ronald

Ronald matriculated at CUNY Hunter College in New York City, where he studied sociology and political science, earning a Bachelor’s Degree. He began teaching ESL in 2004 in mainland China. He also taught overseas in Hong Kong from 2006 until 2008. Ronald has been at TCS since 2014 and currently teaches low-intermediate level classes.

 

Joseph

Joe went to St. John’s University in Queens, New York, where he studied liberal arts, Spanish, and sociology. He has been an ESL instructor since 2007 and currently teaches low-advanced classes at TCS.

 

Matti

Matti holds an MFA in art from the Maryland Institute College or Art and a BA in art from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. He has been teaching ESL since 2000, working in Korea between 2000 and 2001 and Poland in 2008 and 2009. Currently, Matti teaches low-intermediate level classes.

 

 

Louis

Louis earned a BA from Stony Brook University in New York in applied linguistics. He has been an ESL instructor since 2005 and taught in Italy from 2006 until 2009. Currently, Louis teaches low-advanced classes.

 

William

William holds a Ph.D. in American literature from the University of Buffalo. He has been teaching ESL classes since 2014. Currently, he teaches upper-advanced courses at TCS.

 

Adam

Adam earned a BA in international business and Spanish from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. He began teaching ESL classes in Brazil, where he worked between 2010 and 2016. He currently teaches low-advanced courses.

 

Ena

Ena went to CUNY Queens College and earned a BA in applied linguistics. She taught in South Korea from 2013 until 2015. She currently teaches low-intermediate classes.
